"Move over, Ed Begley Jr. Actor-activists Peter Fonda and Mariel Hemingway will add some green glitter to the Go Green Expo in Los Angeles on Friday. They’ll be downtown for a panel discussion and screening of "Fuel," a documentary about America’s oil-stained energy policies and ways for the nation to kick its carbon addiction.
Directed by author and environmentalist Josh Tickell, "Fuel" won the Audience Award at the 2008 Sundance Festival. Celebs appearing in the documentary include actors Julia Roberts and Larry Hagman, singer-songwriters Sheryl Crow and Willie Nelson, environmental attorney Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and former President Jimmy Carter."
