Sparked a National Conversation on Oil Dependence and Fuel Alternatives

Released in 2014, Pump exposed the oil industry’s influence in limiting fuel options for consumers, arguing that both oil companies and the U.S. government have suppressed alternatives like ethanol, methanol, and natural gas. The documentary highlighted these fuels as cleaner, more affordable, and domestically sourced solutions. Pump used Brazil’s transition to alternative fuels as a model for U.S. policy, advocating for consumer choice at the pump.

The film had a significant impact on public discourse, sparking conversations about oil dependency, energy security, and the environmental benefits of alternatives. It contributed to growing support for alternative fuels in the U.S., where ethanol production grew by 8% in the year following the film’s release, with over 15 billion gallons produced annually by 2015. The film also encouraged grassroots advocacy, with several local initiatives and legislative pushes aiming to increase alternative fuel availability at gas stations. Pump inspired actions such as multi-fuel vehicle conversions, which helped increase the use of alternative fuels, reducing fuel costs for consumers and expanding the domestic energy market.

GOOD FORTUNE

About

Good Fortune is the rags to riches tale of conscious capitalism pioneer John Paul DeJoria. Born with nothing, then homeless on the streets of LA, “JP” spent his early life in and out of gangs only to wheel and deal his way to the top of a vast hair and tequila empire. JP defies the stereotype of ‘the 1%’ and is the poster boy of the triple bottom line – people, planet and profit.

Kiss The Ground

KISS THE GROUND

About

Winner of 45 awards and counting, ‘Kiss the Ground’ is an inspiring and groundbreaking documentary film, narrated by and featuring Woody Harrelson, that reveals a solution to our global climate crisis…and it’s right under our feet. Directed by critically-acclaimed documentary filmmakers Josh Tickell and Rebecca Harrell Tickell, ‘Kiss the Ground’ reveals that, by regenerating the soil, we can completely and rapidly stabilize Earth’s climate, restore lost ecosystems, and create abundant food supplies. Featuring the world’s leading scientists, experts, farmers, and activists, NASA and NOAA footage, and real-world examples of regenerative agriculture, the film illustrates how the relatively simple solution of drawing down atmospheric carbon into the soil can solve humanity’s greatest challenge…if we don’t give up and we work together.

Why Certified Regenerative?

Regenerative agriculture is vital for restoring soil health, improving biodiversity, and increasing resilience to climate change. It integrates Indigenous knowledge, holistic management, and modern science to restore vital cycles of carbon, water, and nutrients. Practices like reduced tillage, cover cropping, and agroforestry enhance soil fertility, water retention, and overall environmental health. Regenerative farming also helps minimize chemical use, promoting long-term sustainability in contrast to industrial agriculture, which degrades the land over time.

Based on a best selling book by Josh Tickell.

After 50 years, America’s search for the ultimate diet is over. The dilemma of what to eat has finally been solved. Enter: the ‘regenerative diet,’ a way of eating that can cause our planets’ soils to sequester 100% of the CO2 that has been released into the atmosphere since the dawn of The Industrial Revolution. Join acclaimed journalist and Sundance award winning film director Josh Tickell as he interviews celebrity chefs, ranchers, farmers, and top soil scientists. With cutting edge science, this book gives readers a power they’ve never had – the power to reverse global warming, create clean, healthy, abundant food and get rid of the poisonous chemicals that are harming our children and pets, all while rebuilding our most precious resource: the very ground that feeds us.

50 Million Acres in Transition in the U.S.

As of 2025, over 50 million acres in the U.S. are transitioning to regenerative agriculture—up from less than 5 million a decade ago—fueled by Kiss the Ground and Common Ground.

Drove a Historic $20 Billion USDA Commitment

Following the awareness surge around Kiss the Ground and Common Ground, the USDA committed $19.5 billion from the Inflation Reduction Act to support regenerative and climate-smart agriculture — the largest investment of its kind in U.S. history.

Growing Public Awareness

U.S. awareness of regenerative agriculture has nearly doubled since 2023, with 21% of adults now familiar with the term and 6.8% able to define it and understand its significance.

Take the Pledge. Join the movement. Regenerate 100 Million Acres.

Our Goal is to catalyze the shift of 100 million acres of US crop and rangeland into certified regenerative agriculture.

The U.S. has approximately 900 million acres of farm and rangeland. 100 million acres represents just over 10% of that. We believe 100 million acres is the necessary “tipping point” for regenerative agriculture to enter the mainstream.

The momentum of the regenerative movement is growing. Join the movement by taking the pledge today!

Common Ground

COMMON GROUND

About

By fusing journalistic expose’ with deeply personal stories from those on the front lines of the food movement, Common Ground unveils a dark web of money, power, and politics behind our broken food system. The film reveals how unjust practices forged our current farm system in which farmers of all colors are literally dying to feed us. The film profiles a hopeful and uplifting movement of… white, black, and… indigenous farmers who are using alternative “regenerative” models of agriculture that could balance the climate, save our health, and stabilize America’s economy – before it’s too late.

A Climate-Focused Film Studio Takes Root in Ojai

Big Picture Ranch founders Rebecca and Josh Tickell — who directed the hit doc ‘Common Ground’ — moved from L.A. to Ventura County in 2012 to be closer to nature and to pursue the latest subject for their climate-centric films: soil. Two llamas are bounding up a small hill in Ojai, drawn to the sounds of filmmaker Rebecca Tickell yelling in a high-pitched voice, “Rama! Yoda!” Tickell has in her hand a bucket full of feed, and the two shaggy, snow-colored mammals are ready to eat.
